Equivalent to PADI
Advanced Open Water
Diver
Prerequisite: Open
Water Diver & fully
paid up member of Arnewood Divers.
This course takes
you to the point in
your diving career
where you'll possess
an internationally
recognised diving
qualification which
will enable you to
experience diving
around the world
should you desire.
You will receive
additional theory
sessions, and a
several pool
sessions / open water
sessions.
The main focus on
Club Diver is your
RESCUE DIVER; you
will learn the
skills to rescue
another diver
without putting
yourself in any
danger. There will
be a theory
examination at the
end of the theory
schedule.
When in open water
you will be
receiving one-to-one
instructor training.
This grade is
achievable in a
minimum of 10
Qualifying dives.
There is some
self-study required
for this course

What would you do if

incident? This part
of the course
teaches you how to
treat diving related
illness
Night diving
Skills
Night diving has to
be one of the most
fantastic
experiences you will
ever have, fish are
very active at night
and the sea is at
its 'noisiest' with
all the feeding
going on. This is
not to be missed.
Wreck diving
skills
The south coast is
full of wrecks many
of them from the
second world war. It
is a privilege to
dive the history
that is around our
coast and to see
that where there was
tragedy there is now
great colonies of
life who regard the
wrecks as their
homes. The wrecks
are worth the
training!
