News Scroller not
working?
The news scroller is written in
a programming language called Java, and when you use your browser to
view applications written in Java these are called "applets".
If you are not seeing the text
it maybe because you have not downloaded the Java Runtime
Environment (JRE). Java is free to download, go to the Java home
page by clicking the link below and follow the instructions.

Check Java on your
computer
2. If you have successfully
carried out the above and you are still encountering problems try
temporarily disabling your firewall and see if this helps. This is
likely to solve the problem if you are seeing the Java logo but no
text.
